In 1956, Basil Smith, also known as "Smitty", started a small machine shop in his garage, called Rock-ett Products. Being one of the original four wheel drive enthusiasts, his chief concern was to develop four wheel drive equipment for trucks and small SUVs (Jeeps). Over the years, Smitty's son Tom worked at Rock-ett and then with the newly named "Smittybilt". Having been exposed to the four wheel drive lifestyle all his life, Tom was able to create new and innovative product ideas geared towards the growing off-road aftermarket industry.
As the business grew, Tom created more and more exciting new products including the original "Nerf Bar" side step and tubular front and rear bumpers for Jeeps.
Today, Smittybilt, Inc. proudly supplies thousands of active dealers and distributors worldwide with innovative truck and SUV accessories. Smittybilt has expanded its product offering to over 2,000 different products servicing the international truck and SUV markets. The constant involvement of management in the off-road markets has kept Smittybilt in touch with the latest market trends and on the forefront of engineering and design. Welcome to the new Smittybilt where innovation and quality are once again at the forefront of product development. "Get the Original", Get Smittybilt!

Westin was built on the philosphy that a product should work, look good, and last. This certifying that a product had to be designed right, made of quality materials, and that it would survive normal wear and tear for three years or more. We still do it this way.
Westin Automotive Products, Incorporated is a manufacturer of premium quality truck and SUV accessories. We sell directly to reputable warehouse distributors and chain retailers, who in turn provide the best service to consumers, offering the widest selection of inventory and quick delivery.
• Mission Statement
It is the Mission of Westin Automotive Products, Inc. to provide its customers with high demand products through the promotion of sales.
Marketing programs that build brand awareness and customer loyalty support this promotion all the while maintaining the product quality that earned us our place in the industry.
Today there are many choices available from a wide variety of suppliers and we know the decision making process is becoming all the more confusing. In fact, during meeting, we are often asked "What makes Westin different from all the other competitors in the truck accessory market?" or more simply put; "Why Westin?" In order to answer this question we would like you to consider the following:
• Over 33 years

Founded in 1948 by Arthur Warn, Warn Industries began producing locking hubs for surplus World War II Jeeps, converting thousands into useful, on-road vehicles. The WARN winch, developed in 1959, was the first recreational winch. With pioneering features such as a rugged drive train, the WARN winch quickly became the leading brand for off-road racers, avid four wheelers, weekend adventurers and hard working ranchers. In 2000, Arthur Warn's grandson, Mike Warn, sold the family owned business. Jon Kreitz, former CEO of WARN, led a management buyout with institutional investors, Endeavour Capital & Norwest Equity Partners.
WARN was acquired by Dover Resources (now Dover Industrial Products) in October, 2003, and is part of Dover Corporation, a multi-billion dollar, global manufacturer of diversified products. Dover is (DOV) on the New York Stock Exchange. (www.dovercorporation.com)
To comply with the latest automotive industry standard ISO/TS 16949:2002 Warn Industries obtained certification in 2004. In 2005, Warn opened a sales office in the Netherlands, added a Distribution Center in Clackamas, Oregon, a distribution facility in Gahanna, Ohio and expanded its manufacturing capability by opening a production plant in Saltillo, Mexico. In 2005, Jon Kreitz retired from Warn, and Thomas Giacomini was selected as Warn's CEO/President. In 2005 and 2006, Warn brought several innovative new products to the market, including the PowerPlant compressor winch and the PullzAll tool.
In late 2007, Thomas Giacomini was promoted to President of the Dover Industrial Products/Material Handling, and John McCalla was promoted to Warn's CEO and President. In 2007, Warn developed the 18,000 lb. winch for the tow/recovery, severe duty, and trailer/equipment markets and was selected to provide all the vehicle self recovery winches for the U.S. military's MRAP program.
In 2008, Warn celebrated its 60th anniversary by releasing the XL product line of 20,000 and 30,000 lb. winches for use on trailers, roll back carriers, and the tow/recovery market; plus a 60th anniversary edition of our iconic 8274 winch; and we introduced the off-road industries first fan cooled electric winch, the Endurance 12.
In 2009, WARN was selected to provide the self recovery winch for the U.S. military's M-ATV program; launched our all new ProVantage plow system for ATVs and UTVs; and announced an all new line of off-road lighting products for both our Truck/Auto segment and our Powersports segment.
In 2010, Warn supplied winches for the MRAP and M-ATV vehicles being used by the US Military. The revolutionary new Olympus 25 DC-electric winch was released, showcasing Warn's legendary engineering and manufacturing capabilities. Warn also offered a new severe duty hub to the market, which is now on FABCO vehicles, and our utility line of winches were reintroduced under the WARN brand.
